Helping Local Restaurant Open Again
Our crew was called out to a small kitchen fire at a restaurant. This fire was started by a flat top left on with the fire being contained to only the kitchen. There was a slight lingering smell with no soot, mostly fire extinguisher dust needed to be cleaned up.
One group washed down all walls, ceilings, and flat surfaces. The other group ran all dishes, cookware, silverware, and utensils through an on-site dishwasher. Our team worked together to clean off all exterior appliances to ensure no residue remained. The hood area was then cleared of all remaining fire extinguisher dust, and they were professionally cleaned. The floors were all steam cleaned to ensure they were thoroughly cleaned. The crew had scrubbers set as they worked to help flush out any remaining smoke smell.
