What is a Containment?
Containment is made when two strips of painter's tape are placed on the ground and on the wall where you want the entrance. A strip of double-sided tape is then placed on top of the previously placed tape.
Then you will place a sheet of plastic over the double-sided tape and is cut to fit the entranceway. If the space needs to be re-entered, the technician will place a zipper to open and shut the containment.
Containment is used for a fire job by keeping the nondamaged area safe from smoke damage. A containment will help dry a specific area faster for a water job. It helps keep dust particles from moving to other parts of the home for reconstruction.
